I fail to see a case for bumpouts on Roncesvalles at all, perhaps on other streets where the inside lane traffic is a problem but as a frequent cyclist, driver and TTC user on Ronces. I do not see any real benefit, especially where some plans would discourage cycling (and one of the benefits of cycling is being able to go faster than the streetcar in rush hour) or push bikes up onto the sidewalk creating a different danger. The city should spend bumpout money putting good sized, healthy, sustainable trees along Roncesvalles.

I'm for option 2, it seems like the best balance for all factors.

Also: I live on Roncesvalles and can vouch that a lot of cyclists use the street. There are still too many riding on the sidewalk, though, and that makes it danger for pedestrians.
